Regular Session News #2: Bill affecting TRSL Board meetings passes Senate retirement

The Senate retirement committee reported Senate Bill 4 favorably to the full Senate today. SB 4, sponsored by Senator Barrow Peacock, gives the TRSL Board of Trustees the limited flexibility to meet at least 10 times per year instead of the current monthly requirement.

• The House retirement committee is expected to meet Thursday, March 24. However, an agenda has not yet been released. Official agendas are posted to the Louisiana Legislature home page as they become available.
