Session News #22: COLA bill vetoed

House Bill 42 (Rep. Jones) was vetoed by Gov. Bobby Jindal today. The bill would have authorized a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of up to 1.5% to eligible TRSL retirees and beneficiaries, effective July 1, 2015. The legislation also contained several pension reform provisions.
