The House Retirement Committee met yesterday and considered two bills affecting TRSL. House Bill 10 (Rep. Edmonds) was reported favorably. This bill would change the computation on the limit of average compensation (for purposes of calculating retirement benefits) when a member has an interruption in service of more than 10 years.
